What kind of cord can I use to splice into the old cord?
Our ~ 20 year old GE Spacemaker II has a white plastic surround for the control panel, which yellowed badly. We are sprucing up to sell and would like to replace it. GE still makes a model by this name, but we really dislike the “updated” styling. Does any other maker have a unit that is the same size as this under-counter (not over-the-range) product? 23.5 wide by 10.5 tall by 12″ deep.

I have removed the 2 bolts from in front that hold it to the plate on the wall. It had one bolt on top inside the cabinet, but it won’t budge, wont drop down or lift up.
